WBMCC 2019: Important Dates, Pattern, Syllabus, Eligibility, Cut Off, List of Colleges, CounselingWest Bengal Main Computerized Counseling (WBMCC) is an e-counseling conducted by The Health & Family Welfare Department, Government Of West Bengal. It is a centralized counseling conducted for numerous programs including PG Medical/Dental, UG Medical, M. Sc Nursing, B. Sc Nursing, Post B. Sc Nursing. In a nutshell, the counseling is conducted for admissions in West Bengal Medial and Health services. It is a versatile platform for all the aspirants out there bursting with passion.

The aspirants looking forward to applying to the West Bengal Medical and Health services can apply to the former, by following a series of steps mentioned in the following section, followed by the application form details, rules and regulations of the counseling, the eligibility criteria, important dates, etc.

WBMCC 2019 Registration Process:

The sequence of steps to be followed for registration is as mentioned:

STEP 1 – Visit the official website of WBMCC i.e., http://www.wbmcc.nic.in.

STEP 2 – Registration: Choose the course you want to apply for. You will be redirected to another web page, click “Application for Pre-Counseling & Fee payment”.  You will be redirected to the application form.

STEP 3 – Fill the application form carefully. The application form details are mentioned in the next section.

STEP 4 – Review your application form and go ahead and click “confirm and submit”.

STEP 5 – Payment of application fee: Select the payment mode i.e.,

  • Credit Card.
  • Debit Card.
  • Debit card + ATM pin.
  • Internet Banking.

Rs. 3000/-  is the counseling fee and bank charges extra as applicable.

WBMCC 2019 Application Form Details:

The details that the candidates are supposed to enter in the application form are as follows:

  • Roll no. of NEET.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Mobile number.
  • Enter security pin (as displayed on your screen).

As the candidate will submit the details, the details will be displayed along with the respective All-India NEET rank and the candidate’s name.

Click continue to proceed and enter the following details.

  • Applying from which category of seats.
  • Physically Challenged details (if applicable).
  • Select your caste.
  • SC/ ST/ OBC certificate issued in the state of West Bengal (if applicable).
  • Backward class type (if applicable).
  • Whether in position or pursuing any PG courses if applicable.

WBMCC 2019 Rules and Regulations:

The sequence of events that take place during the complete counseling as laid down by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government Of West Bengal are as follows:

WBMCC 2019 Counseling Process:

  • Application for Pre-Counseling & Online Fee Payment: The first step towards enrolling for counseling involves filling the application form. The application form details are aforementioned.
  • Document Verification (Manual): After successful application, the candidates are required to go for document verification in person.
  • Registration, Choice Filling and Locking of Choices: After document verification, registration for counseling is to be done and the candidates are supposed to fill their choices and lock them.
  • Publication of Seat Matrix – Round 1: The first seat matrix is published.
  • Seat Allotment Process – Round 1: Conferring to the rank secured by the candidates in NEET, allotment of seats is carried out.

The procedure is repeated all over again in the following sequence:

  • Result Publication – Round 1.
  • Reporting for admission at the Allotted Institution – Round 1.
  • Publication of Seat Matrix – Round 2.
  • Seat Allotment Process – Round 2.
  • Result Publication – Round 2.
  • Reporting for admission at the Allotted Institution – Round 2.
  • Publication of total vacant seats.

WBMCC Cutoff:

WBMCC 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing, Counselling:

  1. Candidates must not be below 17 years of age as on 31st December 2019.
  2. Only female candidates who have secured 45.00% or above in aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE) and passed in each subject (separately in theory and practical) in higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination in case of Unreserved candidates. In case of Reserved Candidates (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PC), aggregate marks should be 40.00% or above and the candidate should pass in each subject, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English separately (both in theory and practical).
  3. Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal for admission in Government Institution.
  4. Rank holder in JENPAUH Examination, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for UG Medical & Dental, Counselling:

  1. Eligibility for counseling and choice filling is 50th percentile or above in NEET UG 2019
  2. SC/ST/OBC A/OBC B eligibility is 40th percentile or above and PH seats eligibility 45th Percentile or above.

First things first, you need a plan. A plan helps you every step of the way and brings you closer to your goal. It saves your time of going back and forth and lets you move only in one direction and that is forward.

STEP 1 – Note down your goals.

STEP 2 – Divide your goals into smaller tasks.

STEP 3 – Assign a deadline to every task.

STEP 4 – Make a plan to execute the tasks.

STEP 5 – Start the execution of the plan.

Always keep track of your progress.

A few things that will help you in getting better score are:

  • Take regular mock tests – it will help you finish the exam within the provided time.
  • Practice as many questions as you can.
