The Neotia University is a part of a dynamic endeavor of the Ambuja Neotia Group in the vast field of education. TNU is one of the best private engineering colleges in the state of West Bengal.

TNUEE 2019 Registration Process:

Candidates willing to register themselves for the TNUEE examination must do so through the official website – http://www.tnu.in.

For registering, candidates will have to provide an email id. A verification code will be sent to the registered email id. Using the verification code candidates will have to log in to the website and start filling out the form. After that, candidates will have to pay the registration fee.

TNUEE 2019 Application Form Details:

After registration is completed, candidates will have to start filling out the application form. Personal details, academic details, and other important necessary information will have to be entered. Candidates will also have to make the necessary choices according to the course they wish to apply for. After this, candidates will have to pay the application fee which is Rs. 100. Payment can be done online through credit/debit card or net banking or offline through e-challan/Demand Draft/Bankers cheque, which is to be drawn in favor of The Neotia University, payable in Kolkata. TNUEE 2019 Rules and Regulations:

Candidates willing to appear for the TNUEE examination must follow certain rules and regulations as are given below –

  • Candidates who have qualified for JELET are eligible to apply for the B.Tech programme in Lateral Entry Mode.
  • Application forms are available online as well as offline. Candidates can use either method for the registration.
  • For postgraduate courses in Psychology and English, candidates will have to be admitted through a personal interview.
  • After submission, no changes can be made in the form.
  • There will be no need to upload documents online in the registration form.
  • Reservation of seats – OBC – 27%, SC – 15%, ST – 7.5%, PwD – 3%. Remaining seats are for general category candidates.

TNUEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates willing to appear for the TNUEE examination must meet the eligibility criteria – course wise, as is given below

  • Tech/M.Tech in Robotics Engineering – Candidates must have passed class 12 with PCM/ Computer Science with a minimum score of 60%. Performance in both eligibility tests in order to qualify for admissions.
  • Tech/M.Tech in Energy Engineering – Candidates must have passed class 12 with PCM/ Computer Science with a minimum score of 60%. Performance in both eligibility tests in order to qualify for admissions.
  • Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Automobile Manufacturing – Candidates must have passed class 12 with PCM/ Computer Science with a minimum score of 60%. Performance in both eligibility tests in order to qualify for admissions.
  • Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Cyber Security – Candidates must have passed class 12 with PCM/ Computer Science with a minimum score of 60%. Performance in both eligibility tests in order to qualify for admissions.
  • Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Data Analytics – Candidates must have passed class 12 with PCM/ Computer Science with a minimum score of 60%. Performance in both eligibility tests in order to qualify for admissions.
  • Integrated M.Sc in Biotechnology – Passed class 12 board exam with science and a minimum score of 60%. Performance in both eligibility tests in order to qualify for admissions.
  • Marine Engineering Studies – Passed 12th standard examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum score of 60% and a minimum of 50% in English in class 10 and 12 finals. Also, a medical test approved by the DG Shipping, Government of India. Performance in both eligibility tests in order to qualify for admissions.
  • Sc in Hospitality Administration – Passed 12th standard. The score in test 1 of the entrance exam.
  • Diploma in Hotel Operation – Passed 10th
  • Bachelor in Business Administration – 12th standard pass in the Commerce stream and Mathematics as well as Business Application as individual subjects. The score in test 1 of the entrance exam.
  • Sc in Applied Psychology – Passed 12th standard. The score in test 1 of the entrance exam.
  • Sc in Agriculture/Nautical Sciences – Passed 10+2 with science stream and a minimum score of 50%. For Nautical Sciences, scores and performance in both tests will be observed. For Agriculture, performance in test 1 will be observed. Also, students must have a minimum score of 50% in English in 10+2.

TNUEE Exam Dates:

Candidates willing to appear for the TNUEE 2019 examinations must keep in mind the following dates –

  • The release of admissions notification will be in the 3rd week of April 2019.
  • Online and Offline application form registration starts from the 4th week of April 2019.
  • The last date for registration and submission of application form will be from the 2nd week of May 2019.
  • Admit cards will be available for download from the 3rd week of May 2019.
  • Entrance examinations will be scheduled from the last week of May 2019.
  • Results will be declared in the 2nd week of June 2019.

TNUEE Exam Pattern:

Candidates willing to appear for the TNUEE examination must keep in mind the exam pattern as can be expected.

  • The entrance examination will be available to be taken online as well as offline.
  • The online test can be taken anywhere through the link which will be sent to the registered email id.
  • The center based offline examination will have to be taken in either the TNU City Campus or the TNU Campus.
  • There will be two levels of the entrance test – Level 1 will be compulsory for all undergraduate aspirants of  Tech/ B.Sc/ B.A/ BBA/ Diploma/ M.Sc (Integrated) in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Applied Microbiology. This level will test aptitude, tenacity, creativity, logical, analytical abilities and communication skills. The time given to complete this examination will be 1 hour.
  • Students willing to join any B.Tech or B.Sc in Nautical Science course will have to appear for level 2 of the test. This test will evaluate a candidates knowledge of PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) as has been studied in 10+2. Duration of the exam will be 30 minutes.
  • For candidates willing to take admission to the postgraduate courses of English and Psychology, admission will be on the basis on Personal Interview.
  • The tests will be conducted in English.
  • Questions will all be MCQ in nature. Some questions will be situational or logic based so candidates can choose the option which will be best suited as the answer.

TNUEE Syllabus:

The TNUEE syllabus will consist of knowledge of 10+2 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics – (for Part 2 of the entrance test. Not applicable to all subjects.) For Part 1 of the entrance test, candidates will have to use general knowledge, logical reasoning aptitude, and experiences of everyday life to solve the paper.

TNUEE Preparation Tips:

  • Try preparing from and following good guidebooks and NCERT books.
  • Study each topic individually and invest enough time in all the subjects so that none of the topics are left behind.
  • Time yourself so that you know where you stand with regards to completing the paper with or without time in hand.
  • Practice mock tests. Mock tests are a way of analyzing the situation after you’ve prepared yourself. Solving mock tests will help you get used to the exam pattern and the types of questions you can expect in the examination.
  • Eat healthily and stay hydrated. It is very easy to fall victim to panic and fear. In order to avoid that, try staying stress-free and tension free.
  • Remember to read the rules and regulations of the exam clearly so that you don’t miss anything important.
  • Take enough rest and sleep, as they are essential in keeping a healthy and fresh mind.
