About Sathyabama Institute Engineering Entrance Examination:

To admit students in B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch. courses, Sathyabama Institute will conduct an entrance examination known as SAEEE 2019 for the academic year 2019-2020. It is a national level examination conducted every year by the institute.

SBAIEE 2019 Registration Process:

All the applicants can register for the entrance examination SAEEE 2019 through online mode on the official website of the Institute The registration for 2019 -2020 admission has started from 17th August 2018. The applicants should register themselves by providing their name as printed in the class 10th mark-sheet, a valid e-mail id, and a mobile number. After successful creation of a password, a registration id with the password shall be sent to the registered mail id or mobile number.

 SAEEE 2019 Application Form Details:

The applicants can apply for the SAEEE 2019 through online mode and offline mode as well.

For online mode:

The candidates can apply for the entrance examination on the official website of the institute After filling and validating all the details, applicants shall pay the application fee of Rs. 650 (+Bank Charges). The fee can be paid either by paying Net-Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or by offline payment mode. For offline payment, candidates can download the e-challan and pay the fee at any one of the Indian Branches.

For offline mode:

The candidates can obtain the application form by paying the application fee of Rs. 650/- at the Sathyabama Institute Campus. Also, application fee can be obtained through post by sending a letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 650/- drawn in favor of “Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology”, payable at Chennai. The Request letter should reach the address on or before 31st March 2019.

Note: – Candidates should keep a photocopy of the application form for future reference. The application fee should be filled in all aspects. The incomplete application form will be rejected. The last date for the submission of application form for SAEEE 2019 is 31st March 2019.

SAEEE Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should have passed the 10th class or equivalent examination in March/April 2016 or after with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized board.
  • The candidate should have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects and with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized board.
  • The candidate’s date of birth should be on or after 1st January 1999.
  • Candidates passed in compartmental class/grade or passed with arrear in 10th or 12th are not eligible for SAEEE 2019.
  • Non-Resident Indian and foreign candidates are not eligible for SAEEE 2019.

SAEEE Exam Pattern:

SAEEE 2019 will be conducted through online mode by the institute. The question paper will consist of 120 questions in total and 120 marks in total. For each correct answer, one marks will be given. There will be no negative marking in the examination.

Some Basic Concepts in Chemistry, States of Matter, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, and Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Principles related to Chemistry.

SAEEE 2019 Exam Dates:

The examination dates and schedule will be informed in the month of February 2019. The institute will conduct the examination in three different slots:

  • First Slot: 9.00am to 11.30am
  • Second Slot: 12.30pm to 3.00pm
  • Third Slot: 4.00pm to 6.30pm

All the candidates need to book the date and time for their slots to appear for the examination. The date and time slot booking for the examination will start from 10th April 2019. Candidates can book their exam slots using the application id and password created by them during registration. Candidates who have applied through offline mode will get their password on or before 10th April 2019.

The candidates should visit the website to book their slots and download the admit card. The examination date, time and slot shall be given on the basis of first come first serve. If a candidate does not book his/her slot before the last date, then the examination authorities will provide them the same as per their convenience.

After the booking of slots, candidates must take a printout of the hall ticket on an A4 size paper. No candidate will be permitted to appear for the examination without the hall ticket. Also, the hall ticket should be kept safe as it will be checked in the counseling round.

SAEEE Result Date:

The institute will release the result in the first week of May 2019 (tentatively). The result will be available on the official website. Also, it will be intimated through SMS. After the declaration of result, shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling round. The counseling dates will be announced in the third week of May 2019.

On the day of the counseling, all the shortlisted candidates will be allotted their branch of study depending upon the availability of seats in the different course.
