It is a state level entrance examination for those candidates who want to be employed as a teacher in the schools of Rajasthan. Qualified candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria and pass the written test will be appointed as a teacher in the Government or Private schools of Rajasthan state. The sole aim of conducting this test is to ensure that quality requirement for recruitment of teachers is not laced at any cost.

The teacher’s vital aptitude required to make the students perceive the subject contents are judged and the candidates with a minimum of 60% marks in the written test will be regarded as qualified.

The TET entrance examination 2019 is conducted in two parts – Paper 1 and Paper 2 and is organized by both Central and State government in India. Paper 1 is for teachers of Classes I to V and Paper 2 is for teachers of Classes V to VIII.

A person who scores 60% or more in the RTET exam will be considered as RTET pass. As Rajasthan Government has decided to give the concession of 5% in PSTET to the persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., by their extant reservation policy

This weight to the RTET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the RTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Candidates must note that all qualified Applicants will have Seven years of the validity period for RTET certificate from the date of result announcement for all category candidates (consisting both reserved & unreserved category).

How to Fill RTET 2019 Application Form?

RTET 2019 Application Form will be released in the 4th week of November 2018

  • Applicants need to fill the Online Application form, from the official website.
  • Applicants need to read all the guidelines which are mentioned on the official website before filling the application form.
  • Applicants must fill all their personal information carefully & also academic to apply for this exam.
  • Applicants need to upload their documents only in scanned copies.

Required Documents:

  1. Aadhar Card is compulsory.
  2. High School (Class X) and  Intermediate (Class XII) mark sheet and passing certificates.
  3. Graduation mark sheet/ Degree
  4. Declaration by the Unemployed (For claiming exam fee exemption)
  5. NOC from Employer (if anywhere employed)
  6. Medical Certificates
  7. Domicile
  8. Caste Certificates (if applicable).
  • Download the Confirmation page, and submit it to the District Education Officer.
  • Only Successful submission of the application form by the candidate will be issued the Admit Card.

Reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC) must possess the certificate of the category to support their claim at the time of interview.

Application fee details

1.General and OBC Category For One Paper Rs. 500 and For Both Ist and 2nd Paper Rs.800/

2.SC and ST Category For One Paper Rs.250 and For Both Ist and 2nd Paper Rs.400/.

RTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates those who will be satisfying all the eligibility criteria for the courses offered by the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test  2019 will only be considered appropriate for the admission.

Basic Eligibility Criteria

  • Must clear 10+2 standard Forty-five percent Marks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream is required with fifty percent Marks.
  • Result awaited for B.Ed Exam can also apply for it.

For Classes First to fifth (Paper I) 2019

  • Candidates should pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with the minimum score of 45% percent Marks.
  • Appearing candidates pursuing in final two-year Diploma in Elementary Education / two– year DED in Special Education/four-year (B.El.Ed.) are also eligible.


  • Candidates with Bachelor of Science/bachelor of arts with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education degree candidates can also apply.

For Classes Sixth-Eight (Paper II) 2019

  • Applicants having a bachelor of science/bachelor of arts. and appearing candidates in final 2 years B.A. /D.Ed. / bachelor of science with the aggregate of 45% marks and cleared.
  • Appearing in Senior Secondary/ B.Ed / with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed.


  • bachelor of arts. (Ed.)/ Bachelor of Science. (Ed.) final 4-year Bachelor degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / Bachelor of Education. (Special Education) with 50% in the bachelor of arts or Bachelor of Science are eligible for RTET 2019.

RTET 2019 Admit Card:

Students must note that the RTET Admit card is an essential document and they should carry it to the Exam center.

  1. Admit card contains details regarding the candidate – Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Roll no. , Date & time, Venue of the examination, Instructions to be followed during the examination etc.
  2. Students can download the RTET 2019 admit card from the official website.
  3. RTET Admit card will be available before a week from the Exam.
  4. No Physical Admit Card will be sent to students appearing for the exam.

How to Check Result of Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2019?

Result will be disclosed online on to the official site and candidates can check their results on the official website by clicking on the Results link and then entering their roll number or by providing their registration no on the official portal. There the result will be displayed on the screen. Candidates can download the result from there.

Students who clear the Entrance Exam will be eligible for a personal round interview which would be their final process for selection as a teacher.
