OJEE PG 2019: Application, Exam Date & Pattern, Syllabus, EligibilityThe Odisha Joint Entrance Examination committee is established on the recommendation of Policy Planning Body with due approval by the government to provide admissions in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the state of Odisha. The committee conducts examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and postgraduate courses like MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, etc.

Odisha Post Graduate Joint Entrance Examination:

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by the Odisha JEE Committee every year through which students can get admission in various postgraduate courses. The following is the list of courses available through Odisha JEE:

  • Tech
  • MBA
  • Integrated MBA (5 years)
  • MCA
  • Arch, and
  • Pharm

Odisha PG JEE 2019 Registration:

Before registering for the examination, candidates should visit the official website http://www.ojee.nic.in and read the information brochure given by the committee. On the website, candidates shall register themselves by clicking on the link “Online Student Registration System” and then shall open the link “Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2019”. The link will be tentatively activated in the second week of February 2019. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates.

Candidates should note down the registration number and password for future reference.

Odisha PG JEE 2019 Application Form:

Candidates shall apply for the examination through online mode on the website http://www.ojee.nic.in. There will be no offline mode for the submission of application form. Application form consists of following four steps:

  • Registration and Password Creation
  • Fill up Application Form
  • Upload Photo, Signature, & Thumb Impression
  • Make Payment

The applicants shall fill the personal details, choice of examination center, educational details, upload the photograph, signature, and thumb impression. After this, an application fee of Rs. 1500/-has to be paid to appear for the examination. The application fee can be paid through online mode or offline mode.

For online mode:

Through this mode, fee payment can be done through debit card/credit card/net banking. Applicants will be given two options: SBI and BILLDESK Gateway.

For offline mode:

Applicants can pay the fee through the offline mode by generating an e-challan available while filling up the application form. After taking a printout of the challan, candidates shall submit the challan to any branch of State Bank of India. After successful submission of fee, the candidate should take out a printout of the confirmation page.

Note: – Application form should be complete in all aspects before final submission of the form. An incomplete application form will be rejected without any notice. Details filled by the applicant will not be changed after submission under any circumstances.

Odisha PG JEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

For admission into Master degree in Computer Application:

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from a recognized university as defined by UGC. He/she should have passed in Mathematics in 12th standard or in graduation.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST Category) aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit for admission to MCA course. Candidate with any age can apply for the examination.

For admission into Master in Computer Application under Lateral Entry:

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science/IST/ISM) from a recognized university as defined by UGC. He/she should have passed in Mathematics in 12th standard or in graduation.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST Category) aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit for admission to MCA course. Candidate with any age can apply for the examination.

For admission into Master in Business Administration:

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from a recognized university as defined by UGC.
  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree examination in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy examination of a minimum of four or five-year duration in any discipline from any recognized university.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST Category) aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit for admission to MBA course.

For admission into Master in Technology (Regular):

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/M.Sc) examination in the relevant discipline from a recognized university as defined by UGC.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST Category) aggregate in the qualifying examination.

For admission into Master in Technology (Part-time):

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/M.Sc) examination in the relevant discipline from a recognized university as defined by UGC.
  • The candidate must have a work experience of minimum two years in a company/registered firm/industry in the relevant field in which candidates sought admission.

For admission into Master in Pharmacy:

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from a recognized university as defined by UGC. He/she should have passed in Mathematics in 12th standard or in graduation.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST Category) aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit for admission to MCA course. Candidate with any age can apply for the examination.

For admission into Master in Architecture:

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree examination in Architecture a recognized university as defined by UGC. He/she should have passed in Mathematics in 12th standard or in graduation.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST Category) aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit for admission to MCA course. Candidate with any age can apply for the examination.

For admission into Master in Planning:

  • A candidate should have passed or appeared in 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree examination in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or passed Master’s Degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Statistics, Environmental Science, and Social Science from a recognized university as defined by UGC. He/she should have passed in Mathematics in 12th standard or in graduation.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST Category) aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit for admission to MCA course. Candidate with any age can apply for the examination.

Odisha PG JEE 2019 Exam Pattern:

Odisha JEE for postgraduate examinations will be held through offline mode and the medium of the examination will be English only. For each correct answer, four marks will be given. There will be negative marking. One marks will be deducted if answered wrong.

For M.Tech/M.Arch:

The question paper will consist of objective multiple choice type questions and the duration of the examination will be two hours. It will contain 90 questions. Out of the 90 questions will be divided into following sections:

The community has defined a fixed syllabus for the Joint Entrance Examination which is explained below in detail:

For MCA:

  • Mathematics: Logic, Algebra of Sets, Number System, Determinants and Matrices, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry of two-dimensions and three-dimensions, Vectors, Differential Equations, Integral Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Number System.
  • Computer Awareness: Introduction to Computers, Computer Arithmetic, and C Language.

For MCA (Lateral Entry):

  • Mathematics: Logic, Algebra of Sets, Number System, Determinants and Matrices, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry of two-dimensions and three-dimensions, Vectors, Differential Equations, Integral Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Number System.
  • Computer Awareness: Introduction to Computers, Computer Arithmetic, C Language, C++ and Data Structure, Fundamentals of Computer Organization and Networking, Introduction to Operating Systems, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Abilities.

For M.Plan:

City Planning, Landscape Design, Computer Aided Design, Environmental Studies in Building Science, Visual and Urban Design, History of Architecture, Development of Contemporary Architecture, Building Service, Building Construction and Management, Materials and Structural Systems, Planning Theory, Techniques of Planning, Traffic and Transportation Planning, and Development Administration & Management.

For M.Tech:

  • Chemical Engineering: Process Calculations and Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical Operations, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Instrumentation and Process Control, Plant Design and Economics, and Chemical Technology.

Odisha PG JEE 2019 Exam Dates:

According to the authorities, Joint Entrance Examination 2019 for postgraduate admissions will be held in the second week of May 2019. Admit card for the examination will be released tentatively in the last week of April 2019 on the official website of the Committee.

Note: – The candidates shall have to download two copies of the admit card. One copy shall be kept by the invigilator and one copy will be given to the candidate.

The results will be declared in the last week of May 2019. Candidates can check their subject-wise marks by paying a fee of Rs. 400/- through demand draft in favor of “OJEE 2019” drawn on any nationalized bank at Bhubaneshwar. A candidate can ask for re-totaling by paying a fee of Rs. 500/- through the same procedure mentioned above.
