What is a good way to prepare for MICAT 2016?

Here are a few tips to better attempt the question paper.

1. Practice your writing exercises. Everyday

There is very little time to complete this exercise, the more you practice the better. Selection to the next round depends a lot on how well you perform in this section. MICA values creativity in individuals, but don’t force it in the paper, write your answer to the point.

2. Do not ignore your Math

Although the MICAT quant section is relatively easier than the CATs and XATs of the country, it is still a very important parameter for qualification. Please brush up on your basics.

3. Read up on brands/advertisements

Be well versed in the general market trends, read up Indian brands( startups especially), acquisitions, Ad agencies including their founders/CEOs. Also be well versed in taglines of brands.

4.Practice Word Associations

If you aren’t familiar with this type of question, please start preparing soon.

Prep groups help.

5.Join Facebook prep groups not Whatsapp

Whatsapp is too cluttered when too many people are on it ( personal preference)

Here is one and I’ve found this one to be the best. https://www.facebook.com/groups/…

6. Relax, You’ll get through.
