About JEMAT 2019:
The Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is a state level entrance examination conducted by MAKAUT, WB every year for admission to the MBA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes offered by the Management Institutions of the State. The West Bengal University of Technology on behalf of the State Government.
The admission test will be followed by counseling and venue for which will be informed in due course of time.
JEMAT 2019 Registration:
Applicants can register for JEMAT 2019 on the official website of the West Bengal University http://www.wbut.ac.in. The University will release the notification in the second week of February 2019. Advertisements for JEMAT admissions are usually posted in local dailies. All the candidates should check the website regularly for important updates.
JEMAT 2019 Application Form:
Candidates shall apply for JEMAT 2019 in the prescribed online form which will be uploaded on the University website. Online applications should be filled up and the hard copy of application form along with necessary documents and a demand draft should be sent to the University. Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of JEMAT-WBUT payable at Kolkata.
Examination fee for different categories is given below:
- For General Category: Rs. 600/-
- For SC/ST/OBC/PH: Rs. 300/-

JEMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria:
- A candidate should have done Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Arts/Science/Technology/Commerce/Medical/Dental/Agriculture or any equivalent course from a recognized university.
- The candidates who are appearing in final year of their graduation in 2019 can also apply. But they should submit all the documents before a prescribed deadline (August 31st, 2019).
JEMAT 2019 Exam Pattern:
The JEMAT written test is an offline test of 2 hours duration. The question paper will consist of multiple choice type questions and will be in English medium only. For each correct answer, one marks will be given. There will be negative marking. For each wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The question paper will be divided into three sections given below:

Each question will have four options to choose the right answer from. The candidates are required to choose only one option. Marking more than one option will lead to wrong attempts.
JEMAT 2019 Syllabus:
- English: Reading Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Grammar, and Vocabulary.
- Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Arithmetic, Geometry, Statistics, and Modern Mathematics.
- Logical Reasoning: Coding and Decoding, Analogies, Syllogism, Data Interpretation, and Alphanumeric Series.
JEMAT 2019 Exam Dates:
As per the exam authorities, admit card will be released in the second week of August 2019. Admit card will be available for download from the scheduled date which will be decided by the University. All the registered candidates can download they’re admit card by using their application number and password.
The examination will be held in the third week of August 2019. JEMAT 2019 results will be announced on the official website of JEMAT. Tentatively, results will be declared in the first week of September 2019. Candidates can download their scorecards by using their login credentials.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a group discussion round and then for a personal interview round. This will be followed by a counseling round. All the selected candidates shall have to pay a counseling fee of Rs. 500/-.
