MIZORAM POLYTECHNIC 2019

Mizoram Polytechnic, Lunglei was established in the year 1981 by the Government of Mizoram. The college has been recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute offers three years Diploma course in the following field of engineering:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Computer Science and Engineering

Apart from the Diploma courses, the college also offers two or more certificate courses under Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET).

Mizoram Polytechnic 2019 Registration and Application Form Details:

The interested candidates who seek admissions in the different trades of Diploma can register themselves through online mode on the official website http://www.polylunglei.in/. The application form will be available on the same website. The window for registration and application form filling will be opened in the second week of February 2019. The last date to fill the forms and apply for the admissions in the institute will be in the first week of March 2019. All the candidates are advised to check the official websites regularly for updates.

The applicants shall have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 60/- for the admission in the Institute.

Eligibility Criteria for Mizoram Polytechnic Admissions 2019:

  • The candidate must have passed High School Leaving Certificate (10+) conducted by Mizoram Board of School Education or its equivalent conducted by a recognized Board.
  • He/she must have secured 45% (40% for reserved category) aggregate in Mathematics.
  • Applicants should not be more than 25 years of age as on the first of July of the year of admission.

Examination Pattern for Mizoram Polytechnic 2019:

The written examination of Mizoram Polytechnic, Lunglei will be based on 10th standard level. The question paper will consist of four sections in Mathematics, Science, English, and General Knowledge. Below is the detailed syllabus for Mizoram Polytechnic Entrance Examination:

Mathematics: Number System (Real Numbers, Quadratic Equations, and Arithmetic Progressions), Algebra (Polynomials, Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables), Geometry (Triangles, Circles, and Constructions), Trigonometry (Introduction to Trigonometry, Trigonometric Identities, and Heights and Distances), Statistics, Probability, Co-ordinate Geometry (Lines in Two-Dimensional Geometry), and Mensuration (Areas Related to Circles, and Surface Areas and Volumes).

Science: Chemical Substances – Nature & Behaviour (Chemical Reactions, Acids, Bases and Salts, Metals and Non-Metals, Carbon Compounds, Periodic Classification of Elements,), World of Living (Life Processes, Control and coordination in Animals and Plants, Reproduction, Heredity and Evolution), Effects of Current (Electric Current, and Magnetic Effects of Current), Natural Resources (Sources of Energy, Conservation of Natural Resources, The Regional Environment, and Our Environment), and Natural Phenomenon (Reflection, and Refraction).

English: Grammar, Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, and Reading Comprehension.

General Knowledge: Indian History, Geography, Politics, Economics, Awards and Functions, Authors, Static General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
