MHT CET 2019 Preparation Tips:

How to Prepare for MHT CET 2019? This is one of the commonly asked questions by students from Maharashtra who have to appear for the state engineering entrance exam to avail admissions to the B.Tech programmes in the state. So what does MHT CET preparation entail? What syllabus to cover, which books to read? What is the exam pattern? Which topics are more covered in the MHT CET exam? How to score so and so rank? How many marks will fetch admissions? Preparation for MHT CET will involve all these aspects and more.

A good strategy always won half the battle. So it is important to see all factors that play an important role, tackle them one by one. One important thing to do is to look at the previous year exam analysis, understand the exam with the help of insights from toppers and experts and then strategize keeping in mind the MHT CET 2019 syllabus, exam pattern, books to read from and practice sessions.

MHT CET Preparation is the first step to crack in the MHT CET Exams. Every year lakhs of aspirants appear for the MHT CET Exams. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for admission for Engineering, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the state of Maharashtra, India. Total Duration: 3 Hours

There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

First of all, you need to plan according to your studies. Only you know well how well you are

This is the study plan you can follow for your 25 days. I won’t waste time on weight and all, I will just help you plan considering a general situation of an above average student.

Make 90-40-30 strategy. That should be your target for maths-chemistry-physics.

Only strengthen the topics and subtopics which you are assured of. Make that your strength. In competitive exams you cannot rely on half knowledge, you will surely mark the incorrect option if you haven’t understood the concept properly. The marks i have mentioned above should be your strength. You should say that according to your preparation you will score 100% in the topics you have covered.

Now the plan —

First 10 days — 12 hours

Give 5 hours to maths and 5 hours to pay-chem. Rest 2 hours you will have to solve 1 phy chem paper and analyze it.

Take regular breaks and maintain the speed. Try to complete chemistry in 35 min and physics in 50 min. That should be your target. You can solve the questions from model test papers and previous years question papers. Don’t worry even if you score low. Don’t mark the options for the questions you have left. Even if you score 25 out of 40 and left the 10 questions, that’s ok. You gotta understand that the luck will not always be in your favor. So you got to understand your strength and weaknesses.

Concentrate on your weak chapters to strengthen it. You only have 10 days to strengthen your weak topics. You have to cover these topics in only 10 days By the end of these 10 days and solving 10 papers of pay chem, you will know your real strength and now it’s the time to make the best out of it.

Day 11 to 17

Give 5 hours to maths and 1.5 hours for 1 paper of maths . Give 5 hours to pay-chem where you give most of your time to your core strength. Solve 1 paper of physics Or chemistry within an hour along with analysis.

After this week you got to be ready for everything.

Day 18-20

Now you need to give a break to your question paper streak and need to concentrate on
whole syllabus.

Day 1

Give your entire day to maths and correct all the mistakes you have done in the past 7 days
. You got to score 100 in Maths.

Day 2

Till the evening you give time to maths and from the evening you will have to start chemistry and prepare everything. Read all the difficult questions and just go through it.

Day 3

The same approach to physics and chemistry.

Day 20 onwards.

Everyday solve 2 maths paper and 1 physics and chemistry. Make sure you are completing it in that limited time-bound.

In this way, you will be able to solve around 15 papers out of which you are going to solve 5 previous years question papers.

Give your last day to revise everything and take a good sleep before the day of the exam and make the best out of it in those 3 hours to make your life.

Since I teach Mathematics, I will give you some of the tips for my subjects.

Don’t underestimate binomial, pdf, You can assure your marks there. Logic is not that simple as it looks. Use Venn diagrams and Set concept to solve logical problems and switching circuit problems. You won’t make a mistake for sure.

Matrices will give you all the 3 correct answers. Logically through the options, you can find answers but i recommend you to keep matrices as your strength .

Pair of lines — Easy questions are expected.

Vectors ,3d, lines and planes- the better you imagine, the easier it gets . Initially give time to imagine the situation and then solve.

Don’t rely on formulas.

Trigonometric functions need a logical approach . Here you need to learn formulae because you cannot derive on time. You got to learn all the basic formulae of trigonometry as well for the whole calculus . You can check this link to complete your trigonometry in an hour with the most logical tricks. You will never forget after this. Let me know in the comment section how was it. Every Trigonometry formulae Tricks: Every Trigonometry formulae Tricks -YouTube

Never keep limits and continuity in option . Focus on GIF and modulus as well for differentiability. Sometimes you just need to understand the curve and you can easily say whether its continuous or differentiable .

Better you are at differentiation, better you will be at differentiation and integration. Part 2 is based on Calculus . Everything is dependant on each other . My sequence — Limits Continuity Differentiation Indefinite integral Differentiation Appl of Differentiation Appl of Derivatives Definite integral Appl of Integral.

You got enough time for mathematics, so from the answers as well you can solve to get your correct option. For example, if you are asked to integrate something very complicated and you are looking at the options which are easy, just differentiate those options to get that integral and you can get the answer. Same goes for the application of differentiation ,where you cannot form an equation. Apply some logic and get the almost correct approximate answer.
