CIPET JEE 2019: Application, Exam Date & Pattern, Syllabus, EligibilityCentral Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology, Chennai was established in the year 1968 and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. CIPET conducts its own Joint Entrance Examination every year to grant admission to the interested candidates in various disciplines of Engineering. It is a University level examination regulated by the CIPET.

The variegated Diploma courses offered by the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology 2019 are as follows –

  1. Postgraduate Diploma in Plastic processing and testing (PGD – PPT)
  2. Postgraduate Diploma in Plastic testing and quality management (PGD – PTQM)
  3. Post Diploma in Plastic mold design with CAD/CAM (PD – PMD with CAD/CAM)
  4. Diploma in Plastic mold technology (DPMT)
  5. Diploma in Plastic Technology (DPT).

CIPET JEE 2019 Application Form Details:

The Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology will be releasing the online application forms at the official website, where the direct link will be provided to the students. The applicants are required to fill the application form via online/offline mode.

Here, the steps are mentioned as to how the applicants have to fill the application form –

  1. The application form will get started in the mid of February 2019. Candidates are required to apply within the stipulated time frame.
  2. The direct link for applying online will be activated.
  3. There the candidates need to fill in all the details asked – Name, permanent address, contact information, academic qualifications, etc
  4. Next is payment of application fees which can be either through online or offline mode. The fees structure for different category candidates are as under :

Candidates belonging to regions of Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Manipal, Andhra Pradesh, and Nagaland No application fees

Application fees online mode – Net banking, credit/debit card.

Application fees offline mode – Demand Draft, drawn in favor of CIPET payable at Bhubaneswar.

5. Candidates must take out a printout of the successfully submitted application form.

And along with the application form the following documents need to be attached –

  • DOB certificate
  • Copies of Class X and XII mark sheet, degree/certificates (self-attested)
  • Attested certificate of the community for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates.
  • Residential proof of candidates from the Northeastern region (if applicable)
  • Self-attested Medical certificate for physically handicapped candidates.
  • Postcard duly filled with a complete specific address for future acknowledgment.

In case of the offline application form, the application form along with the prescribed documents and Demand Draft needs to be sent via Speed Post/courier to the given address –

CIPET JEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates those who will be satisfying all the eligibility criteria for the courses offered by the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology 2019 will only be considered appropriate for the admission. However, the eligibility rules are different for different courses, it is advised that the candidates go through the listed criteria carefully and act accordingly.

To be eligible for CIPET 2019, the eligibility criteria are as follows –

The age limit for this course is 25 years.

There is a 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and candidates from the Northeastern region.

Postgraduate diploma in Plastic testing and quality management (PGD -PTQM) A bachelor’s degree in any science subject with Mathematics, physics, and chemistry being compulsory.

The age limit for this course is 25 years.

There is a 5 year age relaxation for SC/ST and candidates from the Northeastern region.

M.E/M.tech (Plastic Engineering and Technology) A bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.tech/B.Sc in engineering) in Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Polymer plastic Engineering/Technology

OR

Masters in Polymer Science/Chemistry with polymer specialization.

The age limit for this course is 21years as of 31st July 2019.

There are a 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and candidates from the Northeastern region.

M.tech – PNT B.E/B.Tech (4 years) in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering/Technology/Polymer/Chemical

OR

Masters in Polymer Science/Physics/Chemistry.

The candidate should have qualified the GATE exam.

M.Sc – PS The candidates should be a graduate in science with a degree in Chemical/Industrial Chemistry/Polymer Science/Applied chemistry/Chemistry as one of the major subjects.
M.Sc (Technology) The candidate should have qualified Class XII with mathematics, physics & chemistry as compulsory subjects.

The age limit for this course is 21 years as on 31st July 2019.

There are a 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and candidates from the Northeastern region.

Note – Candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying for CIPET 2019. If any candidate found ineligible and still applying for a particular course, his/her candidature will be canceled by the University.
