How to prepare for AP PGECET 2019?

One thing we will all agree upon is, if you aspire to achieve anything in your life, whether or not you have the talent, hard work and dedication will lead you towards your goal, as the saying goes “Slow and steady wins the race”.

The first and the irreplaceable key towards success is hard work. But what will you work for, if you do not have a plan? Smart- work and hard work go hand in hand. What is smart work? It is nothing but a simple term which demonstrates the following concept:

TIPS TO WORK SMARTLY:

  • Have a plan: As per the survey, the first thing that makes the successful people stand out is their strategic thinking.
  • Write down the plan: Noting down your ideas gives you a clear picture of where do you stand and where do you have to reach.
  • Divide the plan into steps: divide your plan into tasks and assign a deadline to each of them.
  • Execute the plan: start executing the plan and try to finish your task till the deadline assigned.

How to make a plan?

Previous years’ question paper comes on the top of the list of lifesavers, but that is not all that is required.

Collect all the previous years’ question papers and try to understand the pattern of questions:

  • Divide the question depending on their types.
  • Observe closely what kind of questions that have been asked repeatedly.
  • Analyze the questions and try to differentiate them on the basis of your strong and weak point.
  • Start focusing on your weak areas and stay in touch with your strongest area.

Practice online mocks.

Online mocks have so far been proved to be of great help. They allow you to get familiar with the type of questions that are going to be asked in the examination. Benefits of taking mock;

  • The fear of examination gradually goes away.
  • You learn to solve the questions in the time period provided.
  • Helps you analyze your weak and strong areas.

Study plan

Divide your study hours such that you devote an equal amount of time to all the subjects. Stay in touch with all the subjects.
