The complete registration procedure is mentioned in the following section followed by the application form details, rules and regulations of the college, the detailed eligibility criteria for the candidate’s admission in the college, the syllabus of the examination, the examination pattern which also includes the detailed description of the different stages in which AIEED is conducted i.e, GAT (General Ability Test) and CAT (Creative Ability Test) for undergraduate programme and interactive session for the postgraduate applicants. AIEED 2019 Registration Process:

The step by step procedure of registration is mentioned below:

STEP 1 – Visit the official website of Arch College of Design and Business i.e.,

STEP 2 – Registration: The first time users should proceed with registration by clicking on “Apply Now”.

Note down the control number and password for future use.

The candidates are required to fill in the following details for registration:

  • Full name.
  • Email Id.
  • Mobile number.
  • Course level.
  • Course interested in.
  • Current qualifications.

STEP 3 – Fill the application form carefully. The application form details are mentioned in the next section.

STEP 4 – Review your application form and go ahead and submit it.

STEP 5 – Upload the required documents in the specified format.

STEP 6 – Payment of application fee: the application fee is Rupees 3000/-.

Mode of Payments:

  • For online payment: Pay either using Debit/Credit Card.
  • Through demand draft (DD): The Demand draft mentioning the candidate’s name and phone number at the back, drawn in favor of “ARCH Educational Societypayable at Jaipur is to be sent to Arch College of Design & Business, Plot No 9, Govind Marg, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur 302017.
  • Payment in Bank of India branch: Students paying through Bank of India are required to submit the scanned copy of the receipt and personal details (name, course, phone number) during admission.

AIEED 2019 Application Form Details:

The candidates are required to fill in the following fields in the application form.

A)  Course and Exam details.

  • Select Program (UG programme or PG programme).
  • Course Preference (two preferences are to be selected).
  • Exam preference (Online or center-based test).

In the case of Center-Based Test:

Candidates are required to mention the preference of exam city.

In case of online test:

Candidates are required to choose the preferred date and time slot among the mentioned options.

B)  Personal details:

  • Name of the candidate.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Place of Birth.
  • Permanent Address.
  • Father’s Detail (Father’s/ Guardian’s name, profession, Name of firm, Designation, Annual income, mobile number).
  • Mother’s Details (Mother’s/ Guardian’s name, profession, Name of firm, Designation, Annual income, mobile number).

Education Record:

  • Details of matriculation.
  • Details of 12th board examination.
  • Details of graduation (if applicable).

AIEED 2019 Rules and Regulations:

The selection of candidates is strictly merit-based. The cumulative performance in all parameters mentioned will be considered for the final selection of candidates.

  • Performance in past education
  • AIEED exam result
  • Performance in Interview + Portfolio.

When called for final admission the candidates must carry the following documents:

  • Migration and Transfer Certificate
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • 10th & 12th Mark sheet
  • 4 Passport Size Photograph

Scholarship Scheme:

  • The scholarship will be given to the students on the basis of following criteria: AIEED result, Performance in past qualification, Interview + Portfolio, Income of the family, Ward of a single mother, Servicemen, Craftsmen or artisan etc.
  • The scholarship will be awarded on first come first served basis. Once all the scholarships are claimed, further students would not be considered for the same, even if they fulfill all the requirements.

AIEED 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

CRITERIA Students who have appeared for/Cleared Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines) are eligible to write AIEED Exam. Students cleared NID/NIFT/NATA first round are eligible to apply directly for Interaction & Portfolio round.

Class 10+1 Students can also write AIEED 2019. Qualifying students will be eligible for direct admission in the academic year 2020 after clearing the 3rd & last stage of the exam (as described above).

PTE Exam (Academics) to be cleared within 1 year of course commencement for progression to UK University

Graduates or students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognized university can apply for this course.

AIEED 2019 Exam Pattern:

The examination is conducted in two stages:

For UG Level:

Stage 1: General Ability Test (GAT)

GAT is the first phase of AIEED & is compulsory for all applicants.

  • MODE: Only ONLINE.
  • Time duration: 2 Hours.
  • Time slots: 3

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Stage 2: Creative Ability Test (CAT)

CAT is the second Phase of AIEED exam and is only for UG students. CAT would happen in within 3 days of GAT.

  • Time duration: 3 hours.
  • Slots: 3

For PG Level:

AIEED 2019 Syllabus:

  • There is no particular syllabus prescribed by the Arch College of Design and Business.
  • The candidates are tested for aesthetic sense and creativity & design sensitivity.
  • The candidates are tested for logical reasoning and problem-solving aptitude.

AIEED 2019 Preparation Tips:

First things first, you need a plan. A plan helps you every step of the way and brings you closer to your goal. It saves your time of going back and forth and lets you move only in one direction and that is forward.

STEP 1 – Note down your goals.

STEP 2 – Divide your goals into smaller tasks.

STEP 3 – Assign a deadline to every task.

STEP 4 – Make a plan to execute the tasks.

STEP 5 – Start the execution of the plan.

A few things that will help you in getting better score are:

  • Take regular mock tests – it will help you finish the exam within the provided time.
  • Practice as many questions as you can.
  • Start early preparation.
  • Focus on your weak as well as strong points, equally.
